They are the oldest form of remedies and cosmetics known to man and were considered more valuable than gold. There are 188 references to oils in the Bible.  Science is only now beginning to investigate the incredible healing properties of essential oils.

 Equine Herbology

Horse's can use herbs?

Horses are naturopaths in disguise. We may notice them nibbling on different things in the pasture and wonder what are they thinking? Some tree barks contain the same medical ingredients as aspirin, providing pain relief. Some common weeds are perfect for calming an upset stomach. It is important to remember, if you choose to supplement your horse's diet with herbs, be sure to work with someone who has experience and is willing to work with your veterinarian to achieve ultimate health for your animals.
